The main benefit to be obtained from having processing facilities in Aberdeen and Fraserburgh, is their proximity to recognised fish landing ports. Subsequently, this ensures that the finest and freshest raw materials can be selected for onward processing.

BROADFOLD ROAD (ABERDEEN) FACTORY

The Aberdeen facility, based in Aberdeen's Bridge of Don area, is a state of the art fish processing facility, producing on average 65mt of processed smoked fish per week. Employing some 120 staff, this is the main processing site, handling predominantly cold smoked products, and all the Company's smoked white fish.

FRASERBURGH FACTORY
The Fraserburgh factory is based in the harbour area, some 45 miles north of Aberdeen. Production capacity has risen to 30mt per week due to our recent expansion. Employing some 55 staff, this processing site is concerned primarily with our hot smoked products, concentrating solely on Hot Smoked Mackerel and Hot Smoked Salmon.

Within hours of the fish being landed on the quayside, the product has been received at our premises - both factories having HACCP's, EFSIS and the IIP accreditation - and processed with an attention to detail, which is second to none. The fish is then ready for packaging, despatch, or further processing.
